Gallagher Security Management Systems (GSMS), a provider of integrated security solutions, announces its Cardax Service Technician Training Course has received continuing education approval from Building Industry Consulting Service Int’l (BICSI) and National Training School (NTS).
Cardax is the brand name of Gallagher’s access control and intruder alarm systems.
BICSI has approved the following Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for the coursework:
- Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), 21
- NTS, 7
- ESS, 21
- Installer, 15
- Technician, 18
- Certified Trainer, 21
The Cardax course has been approved for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) through NTS for 2.3 credit hours.

The Gallagher training may also provide students the necessary CEUs for NICET certifications. Students will be required to review the course information and make a determination if the course will fulfill their continuing education requirements, depending on their level of certification from NICET.
