Gamewell-FCI Expands Free Mass Notification Seminars

NORTHFORD, Conn.

Gamewell-FCI, a Honeywell company, has expanded its series of free educational seminars, covering the latest codes, government recommendations and economical solutions surrounding mass notification systems (MNS).

Upcoming requirements for private sector applications, which is referred to as Emergency Communications Systems (ECS) through out the latest draft of 2010 NFPA 72: National Fire Alarm Code®,  will also be discussed in the seminars.

All presentations and take-home materials are geared toward the needs of today’s architects, engineers, end users, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs) and government personnel. Reliable and cost-effective MNS and ECS solutions will be discussed at the conclusion of this half-day forum.

All attendees will receive continuing professional development (CPD) credits.Large-scale properties, including corporate, healthcare and educational campuses, military bases and industrial facilities are among the nation’s most prevalent MNS applications. Military MNS installations are governed by the Department of Defense’s Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC).

In accordance with the UFC, Gamewell-FCI has produced its E3 Series® Expandable Emergency Evacuation system, a line of fire alarm/MNS combination systems for both new construction and renovation applications.
