FREMONT, Calif. — Industrial networking products provider GarrettCom Inc. has named Lee House as general manager. In his new role, House will be in charge of all aspects of GarrettCom, including the wholly owned subsidiary of Belden, Inc.
His appointment is part of a planned transition as GarrettCom President Frank Madren moves to a supporting role. House will report to Denis Suggs, acting vice president of Belden’s industrial solutions division (ISD).
House has 22 years’ experience in R&D and product development, with a focus on LAN, WAN, IP, and security products. He has held management positions at companies including 3Com, DiTech Networks, IBM, and Jetstream Communications. House most recently served as GarrettCom’s executive vice president and CTO, where he has been instrumental in leading the development of the company’s next generation line of switches, routers and software products.
