GE Awards Accolades to 17 Integrators at Annual Conference

HOLLYWOOD, Fla.

Seventeen security integrators walked off with 2004
Security Conference Integrator Awards at GE’s annual
Security Conference and Workshop in Hollywood, Fla., June 7-
11. In front of an audience of more than 600, these
integrators were honored for various achievements:

RFI Security Inc. of San Jose, Calif., received the award
for the largest percentage increase in business, boasting
the largest year-over-year increase in overall GE business
purchases.

Anaheim, Calif.-based NAVCO President Bill Groves and
Executive Vice President of Sales Jim Kauker accepted the
award for largest volume increase in business. NAVCO had
the largest dollar volume increase in GE purchases.

Sergio Batikoff of Caracas, Venezuela-based Ibamatic S.A.
received the specification turnover award for overturning
the largest implementation, Central Bank of Venezuela,
originally specified with another manufacturer’s products.

Hamilton Pacific of Pasadena, Calif., won the award for
unique product application after helping to reduce crime at
a Los Angeles park by applying a citywide wireless
technology to CyberDome cameras and CamPlus fixed cameras.

Wes Jacobs of Dover Plains, N.Y.-based Electronic
Technology Corp., accepted the award for top combined sales
in access control, video and fiber products.

After installing ClearCast compression and more than 300
cameras in a Cherokee Nation casino project, Dowley Inc. of
Oklahoma City received the award for high profile customer
win.

C & C Group of Lenexa, Kan., earned honors for customer
service after reporting the highest percentage of return
customers and retained customers.

Jose Concepcion accepted on behalf of San Juan, Puerto
Rico’s All Safe Video the award for top performer in Latin
America.

The award for top performer in Asia went to Video Technica
Co. of Tokyo.

Thales Security Systems S.A. of Meudon, France, received
the award for top performer in Europe.

Abdul Rahiman and Abdul Azeez of Site Technology Ltd.,
based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, accepted the
award for top performer in the Middle East.

Agdal, Morocco-based Spare Parts Int’l (SPI) received the
award for top performer in Africa.

For getting GE products specified into Texas school
districts, Ron “Rocky” Stone accepted the rising star award
on behalf of Lewisville, Texas’ American Home Protection.

Dunbar, W. Va.-based Electronic Specialty Co. won the
continued excellence award as an integrator with a loyal GE
relationship.

aid=1607&sid=1>2004 SAMMY winner Vision Southeast of
Pelham, Ala., received the award for excellence in
partnering after effectively teaming up with other
integrators.

Jay Haughn of ADT Security Services in Boca Raton, Fla.,
accepted the award for best video solution.

Chantilly, Va.-based Julien/SAIC received the award for
best access control system after installing a system using
630 readers.
