GE Industrial Systems has completed the acquisition of International Fiber Systems Inc. (IFS). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The privately held IFS will now become a subsidiary of GE Interlogix Inc., part of the $6 billion GE Industrial Systems unit based in Plainville, Conn. IFS, based in Newtown, Conn., provides digital fiber-optic transmission products and systems for electronic security and intelligent transportation systems.
