HUDSON, Wis. — Michael Benedict, the prime developer of the Security Pro dealer program, has left GE to form his own consulting firm — Best Practices Inc. — to help companies that install and service home electronics.
Benedict helped develop Security Pro at Interlogix and stayed on as director after Interlogix was purchased by GE in 2002.
“I perceive this move to be more of an adventure then a venture,” Benedict says.
