PLAINVIEW, N.Y. — General Security, based here, has acquired Access Alarm & Security Systems of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., for undisclosed terms.

General Security, an Alarm.com authorized dealer, specializes in designing, installing and servicing security systems for residential and commercial clients. The company’s purchase of Access Alarm & Security Systems will expand its existing operations in Southeast Florida.

Access Alarm & Security Systems specializes in the installation and service of single warehouse systems and whole enterprise systems offering a variety of low voltage products for your fire alarm, mass evacuation, access control, security, surveillance, public address and much more, according to its website. The company provides services for Gamewell/FCI, Honeywell, Bosch, Digital Watchdog, RS2 Technologies, among other brands.

All employees of Access Alarm & Security Systems will remain with the company.
