Genetec, a provider of IP security solutions and physical security technology, has been selected as one of Montreal’s top employers for the second year in a row.
Contestants are evaluated by editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers ranking, using the same criteria as the national competition: physical workplace, atmosphere, health and family benefits, vacation, internal communication, performance management, professional development and community involvement.
Employers are then compared to other companies in similar industries to determine which ones offer the most forward-thinking and stimulating working environments.
“Showing appreciation to our employees is one of our core values,” says Joëlle Couture, human resources manager. Couture says Genetec also provides an environment where employees are empowered and can take an active part in the company’s decision process.
