Magnetic switch manufacturer George Risk Industries Inc. (GRI) has reached an agreement with Magnasphere Corp. to package and market its security switch technology. The Magnasphere® switch is being offered as an alternative to the traditional reed switch technology for window and door contacts.
Magnasphere’s switches use spherical magnetism, which it says is resistant to magnetic tamper and defeat, and permanent contact welding.
GRI says in a statement that the addition of Magnasphere products allow it to offer a higher level of security products to residential, commercial, industrial and governmental entities.
