Budinoff Pushes for Quality Training
GREENWICH, Conn.—It was a police officer/part-time security professional who introduced Dan Budinoff to the security industry. Now, as president of Security Specialists in Greenwich, Conn., Budinoff has become an active industry member, including being one of Security Sales & Integration‘s Editorial Advisory Board members.
Budinoff’s involvement in the industry includes the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) Education and Training (NTS) committee, as well as teaching at dozens of classes for the ISC shows. Budinoff’s involvement as an editorial advisory member with SS&I, he says, is a simple one—to help readers with “professionalism, customer service and profit.”
Didden Calls for Industry Participation
PORT CHESTER, N.Y.—Being active in the security industry is a responsibility to be shared by all those who make a living off of it, says Bart Didden, president of U.S.A. Central Station Alarm Corp. of Port Chester, N.Y., and one of Security Sales & Integration‘s Editorial Advisory Board members.
Currently president of the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA), Didden is also active with the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA) and the Ad Hoc Committee of Protective Services of New York. Didden says tackling industry issues head-on is necessary since most association positions have short terms. “Our industry has so much to accomplish,” he says. “These are serious times before us.”
