HEYWOOD, U.K. — GJD, a manufacturer of external detection, LED illumination and ANPR equipment, has just launched its D-TECT 60 Motion Detector.
The newly announced motion detector expands its line of D-TECT products, and it provides dealers and property owners with a solution that has a range up to 196 feet. GJD explains the new D-TECT 60 is a dual PIR external wired motion detector and alarm trigger that includes a programmable beam range to avoid boundary overspill.
“We are excited to launch the D-TECT 60. It is a reliable and accurate long-range detector with many engineer friendly features that make set-up and servicing easier,” comments Ana Maria Sagra-Smith, sales and marketing director, GJD.
According to the company, its new motion detector can be used for reliable performance in outdoor environments, through features such as high detection rates with minimum false alarms, and its inclusion of specially designed Fresnel lens and dual pyro technologies.
After conducting some market research, we discovered there was a gap in the market for a reliable long-range detector. The D-TECT 60 has already got lots of interest, we are looking forward to showcasing it to our customers,” notes Chris Moor, technical product manager, GJD.
In addition, the new motion detector product provides an adjustable field-of-view, which allows dealers to set the detector’s field-of-view to match a system’s associated surveillance camera.
Moreover, GJD emphasizes that its latest motion detector is built with top-quality components to ensure it provides reliable, cost-effective performance.
