Global ePoint Inc. was invited to participate in late April’s Force Protection Equipment Demonstration V (FPED5), hosted by the Department of Defense. The CCTV provider demonstrated one of its mobile video surveillance systems at the event, held at the Quanitco Marine Corps Base in Virginia.
The FPED5 featured an array of high-tech weaponry and state-of-the-art defense systems that included surveillance and homeland security devices for military and law enforcement agencies. Global ePoint’s “Trooper” was installed in a command center vehicle and was demonstrated in conjunction with CANVS Corp.’s color night vision video cameras.
“As a result of the Ranger 350i mobile video surveillance system, we launched an intensive yearlong follow-up research and development program to incorporate certain new and emerging technologies in a significantly advanced mobile video surveillance system that allows broader applications,” said Toresa Lou, CEO of Global ePoint, in a statement.
