Graybar Donates 130K Food Items Nationwide
ST. LOUIS — Through its “Graybar CARES” program, Graybar, a distributor of electrical, communications and data networking products, collected nearly 130,000 food items to help communities in need. Graybar CARES stands for community, awareness, responsibility, education and service.
Graybar hosted its national food drive, called “Food Wars — Teaming Up Against Hunger,” during its national training conference in Orlando, Fla. During the event, Graybar employees, customers and manufacturers worked together to assemble structures out of food items. The company donated all the food items to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
“Through Graybar CARES, we have demonstrated our commitment to making a difference in communities where we do business,” Graybar Executive Vice President and COO Kathy Mazzarella says. “We are so thankful to have customers, manufacturers and employees who value giving back to their communities.”
