Published: May 8, 2012

TUCSON, Ariz. — Graybar, an electrical communications products distributor, has opened its first facility that meets Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) specifications.

The 55,000 square-foot facility, located here, features solar panels, energy-efficient lighting and electric vehicle charging stations. The branch will serve the Tucson metropolitan area and southern Arizona. Branch Manager Steve Gosciminski will lead the location’s 33-member team.

“This new branch reflects our commitment to the environment and to being good stewards of our company’s resources,” Graybar District Vice President Craig Mead says. “We hope this facility serves as a shining example of sustainable and green practices within commercial facilities across the state.”
