Graybar to Open Distribution Center in Southern California

Published: July 29, 2010

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif.—Electrical and communications products distributor Graybar will expand its City of Industry, Calif.-based warehouse by 70,000 square feet to serve as a fully automated distribution center for its Southern California operations.

The service center will serve as the primary shipping location for Graybar’s branches in Southern California and will complement the company’s Northern California service center.

“In addition to utilizing the latest in warehouse technology, this expansion enhances our service capabilities by offering greater breadth and depth in our local inventories while maintaining support from our existing 200,000-square-foot Fresno zone warehouse,” says Dave Maxwell,  vice president of Graybar’s California district.

The expanded facility is scheduled to open in August and will have approximately 157,000 square feet of warehouse space.
