The president of Greater Alarm has been appointed by California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to a state panel that reviews possible business code violations by alarm companies. George De Marco has been named as a member of the state’s Alarm Company Disciplinary Committee.
“I’m a state employee now, which is kind of funny,” De Marco told Security Sales & Integration. The new role for De Marco won’t have any bearings on his duties for Greater Alarm.
The state panel reviews cases where alarm companies have been accused of business code violations, as well as other complaints files against the companies.
