TORRANCE, Calif.

Group 4 Securitas Technology Corp., a manufacturer of access control systems, has relocated from its Carson, Calif., facility to a more modern building in Torrance, Calif., 15 minutes south of Los Angeles Intl. Airport. Exponential growth during the past two years prompted Group 4 to choose a site able to accommodate its present size, sustain continued growth and offer convenient airport access to customers attending training sessions at the new location. In addition, the facility offers exceptional training and demo capabilities. The facility comprises 21,000 square feet, divided into technical offices and labs, sound-enhanced technical support areas, modern training facilities, and a warehouse with a mezzanine racking system for optimal storage efficiency. The site also contains a state-of-the-art demo room equipped with an active smart card access control system.

“During the course of two years, we have enjoyed robust growth and outgrew our previous location,” states Robert Sawyer, president and CEO of Group 4 Securitas Technology. “The Torrance site accommodates our present need for space as well as the future development of Group 4. More importantly, I believe our recent transition communicates to our employees and the industry our long-term business objective to become the preeminent market leader in global access control.”
