PureTech Systems Inc.’s PureActiv wide-area surveillance solution has been awarded a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract from the General Services Administration (GSA). The contract will simplify procurement for federal agencies and other customers with authorization to purchase from the Federal Supply Schedule program by reducing lead times and lowering administrative costs.

The PureActiv surveillance solution uses technologies that include advanced video scene analysis and a policy-based detection and notification rules engine to protect critical infrastructure and lives at airports, seaports, subways and other expansive or geographically dispersed facilities.

PureTech’s contract to provide PureActiv is for the period between Nov. 1, 2005 to Oct. 31, 2010, and is under GSA Schedule 084, which offers total solutions for security, law enforcement, facility management systems, fire, rescue, special purpose clothing, marine craft and emergency/disaster response.
