GTSI Corp. announced that it will bring together several top industry experts to discuss physical security protection. The symposium, “Protecting America: Physical Security Solutions for the Nation,” is the only one contributed by the IT company dedicated to addressing physical security protection and is scheduled to take place on Nov. 9 in Washington, D.C.
The topics covered will mostly concern risk and vulnerability assessment, system design and integration and how government and industry are working together to predict intruders. “We live in a world where terrorism is a stark reality and we are more aware of the possibilities for terrorist activities,” says Dendy Young, GTSI Chairman and CEO.
The symposium is free of charge and open to all federal, state and local government officials. Jack Johnson, Chief Security Officer at the Department of Homeland Security, is scheduled to be the keynote speaker.
