Security systems provider Guardian Protection Services announces it has acquired Ranger American’s Florida operations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Ranger American/Florida was a division of Ranger American, ADT’s largest dealer. The acquisition expands Guardian’s footprint into Orlando, Bradenton, Melbourne and Tampa.
Guardian says it expects the merger to increase its gross revenue by $20 million. The company will integrate all 225 of Ranger American’s Florida employees and 80 builder partners.
The purchase will add 800 residences a month to Guardian’s production within its product lines of installed home security, structured wiring, distributed audio and other home technologies, according to a company statement.
“I have always admired Ranger’s foresight and I believe this acquisition is a win-win,” says Russ Cersosimo, CEO of Guardian.
