SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — Guardian Alarm announces after an extensive search process, it has appointed Brent Uhl as its new chief executive officer.
Uhl has over 27 years of experience in the industry, most recently serving as COO of Charlotte-based CPI Security. Prior to CPI, Uhl spent over 20 years between Brinks and ADT.
In an announcement provided to SSI, Guardian Alarm‘s Board of Directors said, “In Brent Uhl we found an industry veteran with incredibly relevant experience and a consistent track record of success. We have always admired CPI for its industry-leading performance, reputation for outstanding customer service and track record for innovation. Guardian offers the same exciting opportunities for growth as CPI did when Brent arrived there seven years ago.”
The statement continues, “We are excited to bring in Brent and have such a well-respected industry leader take over at Guardian. Brent’s record of achievement in the industry gives us a sense of confidence in knowing that he will bring new ideas to drive continued success at Guardian.”
