Security systems provider Guardian Protection Services was recognized by the Federal Protection Service (FPS), a division of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), for its ongoing contributions to the mission of the agency. Guardian says it earned this recognition through its constant support of the agency’s security needs and requirements, including major support during emergency situations.

Along with the company’s overall recognition, John Gehrlein, a national accounts representative at Guardian, was appointed president of the Professional Certification Board (PCB) of ASIS Int’l.

As president, Gehrlein will oversee the three professional certifications provided by ASIS, including: the Certified Protection Professional (CPP), the Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) and the Physical Security Professional (PSP).
