Hackett Security, a full-service installing and monitoring security contractor based here, announces the acquisition of Reli Security Alarms of Cape Girardeau, Mo. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 1988 by Leon Murphy, Reli Security Alarms serves clients throughout southeast Missouri, southern Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee.
“The Reli acquisition will enable Hackett Security to continue to expand regionally bringing our system design, installation capabilities, and UL-listed central monitoring station capabilities to more homes and businesses throughout southeast Missouri,” says Michael Hackett, CEO and president. “This not only includes houses, apartments and offices, but also schools, colleges, universities and healthcare facilities.”
The acquisition increases Hackett Security’s footprint in southeast Missouri, following its 2009 purchase of Jackson, Mo.-based Secure Tech.
