HAI is debuting its latest application for its home security systems during the CEDIA convention Sept. 8-12 in Indianapolis. Home Control for WMC is software for Windows Media Center that centralizes all HAI Omni controller features in a handheld media center remote.
Home Control for WMC provides a complete compact system including controls for security, lighting and temperature, access to all media, family photos, music, video, E-mail and Internet access.
“It’s a plug-and-play option for anyone with a Windows Media Center system and an HAI Omni home control system,” said Jay McLellan, president of HAI, in a statement.
The product works with a professionally installed HAI Omni controller and has expanded access and control to the Internet via HAI’s Web-Link II software. According to HAI, the system is easy to install into any Microsoft Windows Media Center system with a settings wizard to ensure proper connection and function.
