Sentinel Silent Alarm, a Hawaii-based installing security dealer, has selected Cernium’s CheckVideo solution to offer its customers intelligent video alarm verification.
The CheckVideo system performs real-time analysis of monitored video and presents critical visual information to security monitoring personnel, according to the company. The system helps reduce false alarms and assists operators to be more efficient by allowing them to respond more effectively to situations that require their attention.
“Video is the next wave of industry innovation for incremental revenue but also for more cost-efficient operations. We evaluated several video verification solutions and found that CheckVideo is the easiest to configure and manage,” says Jason Correia, president of Sentinel Silent Alarm.
CheckVideo is designed to work seamlessly with central stations and has allowed Sentinel to add the solution without having to invest additional capital in servers or other equipment, Correia says.
