Henry Bros. Electronics Inc. Announces Acquisitions

Electronic security provider Henry Bros. Electronics Inc. has purchased privately held CIS Security Systems Corp. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

With offices in Newington, Va., and Baltimore, CIS provides designs for, engineers and installs integrated electronic security systems for commercial and government clients in the Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area. For the fiscal year ended May 31, CIS reported revenue of $3.4 million.

Henry Bros. has also acquired certain assets of Southwest Securityscan of Duncanville, Texas. Established in 1974, Southwest provides installation, service and monitoring of access, surveillance and alarm systems. The company reported revenue of $557,000 for the fiscal year that ended March 31.

Southwest President David Mabey will join Henry Bros. as a project manager and lead technician. Mabey and his workers are moving to Grand Prairie, Texas, where Henry Bros. has its own bureau.
