Henry Brothers Electronics Inc., a provider of electronic physical security and systems integration services to both public and private sectors, recently signed a cooperative agreement with RAE Systems of San Jose, Calif., for the acquisition of chemical and radiation detection technology for inclusion in the firm’s integrated security systems. This is expected to solve many of Henry Brothers’ clients’ security problems.
“With the current state of the world, we believe a great need exists to integrate a broader range of sensors into commercial and industrial security systems,” says Henry Bros. CEO Jim Henry. “RAE Systems’ wireless sensor networks provide us with a new set of products to solve the security concerns of our customers.”
According to Robert Chen, CEO with RAE, Henry Bros. will integrate RAE chemical and radiation sensors into future projects. “Henry Bros. will give us a vehicle to begin deployment of the first generation of pervasive sensing,” says Chen.
Henry Bros. recently featured RAE security products at the ASIS East Exposition held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York.
