HID Global’s North Haven, Conn., manufacturing facility has been awarded the 2009 Shingo Prize Silver Medallion, recognizing the company’s success in executing the broad application of lean manufacturing principles.
This is the fourth consecutive year HID Global has been recognized as part of the Shingo Prize business program. The North Haven facility previously received the 2008 bronze medallion, plus the 2007 Connecticut gold Shingo Prize for excellence in manufacturing, and the 2006 Connecticut silver Shingo for world class leadership and culture.
