HID Global, a business unit of ASSA ABLOY, announces it will merge with ASSA ABLOY Identification Technologies (ITG). The merged organization will operate under HID Global as a single entity.
The companies will combine its resources and capabilities, specifically in the areas of technology development, innovative identity solutions and enhanced worldwide delivery.

The company says the merger addresses changing customer requirements for integrated solutions from suppliers. It will also increase HID Global’s ability to enhance relationships with channel partners by serving them with products and programs that are designed to meet their specific needs.
HID Global customers will continue to receive the same products and services, as well as have the same sales and support contacts.
