Irvine, Calif.-based HID Global’s OMNIKEY 5321 CR USB reader is a waterproof contactless PC-linked smart card reader that enables the use of logical access. The product is an extension of HID’s logical access reader line.
The reader meets the data security requirements, such as Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations for health care facilities, hospitals and related vendors.
