At the recent International Fire and Security Exhibition Conference (IFSEC) held in Birmingham, England, HID‘s UK Customer Service Department won the PSI (Professional Security Installer) Premier Award for Customer Care and Service. The awards recognize manufacturers, distributors and service providers that offer the highest levels of customer care.

According to award officials, the company’s goal has been giving the best support possible, and this award shows that this has been achieved. They add that HID’s commitment to customer access is an impressive one, and those involved in the UK operations are always ready and willing to listen to criticism or suggestions from the installation industry, ensuring that they are able to solve potential problems before they arise.

“Customer service has always been a top priority at HID,” says Joseph Grillo, HID president and CEO. “We are particularly gratified by this award because it was voted on by our customers. The HID UK Customer Service Department is deservedly excited by this honor, and we realize that it takes the effort of everyone within HID to make it possible.”

HID is a provider of radio frequency (RF) and Wiegand solutions for automated identification and data transmission in access control and asset management solutions. PSI is aimed at installation companies who are involved with new and emerging technologies.
