CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. — Hikvision will open its U.S. Cybersecurity Road Show on March 27 in Burbank, Calif., located near Los Angeles. The series will continue over the next several months in locations around the nation.

Installments of “Cybersecurity Myths and Facts: Presented by Hikvision” will be led by Chuck Davis, the company’s director of cybersecurity for North America. Davis will present a 90-minute interactive education session about cybersecurity, cyber threats and vulnerabilities, myths about the video surveillance industry, and best practices to mitigate those threats and vulnerabilities.

Davis has worked for more than 20 years building cybersecurity programs for large enterprise organizations. He began working for IBM in 1997 and rose to the position of global security operations manager before leaving the company in 2011. He later returned in 2015 as executive security architect, serving in that role for more than two years prior to joining Hikvision in October 2017.

The U.S. road show follows a successful four-city road show in Canada, led by Davis in December, according to the company.
