Since announcing the creation of Hikvision Canada Inc. in January, the company has hired a sales director for the division, Lorne Terry, as well as ramped up sales support and engineering support there. The new office in St. Laurent, Quebec, will serve as home base for product support, technical support and quality assurance, with staff fluent in English and French.
“This is an important move for the company as we continue to establish our strong position in the Canadian market, where the company significantly increases sales growth year over year,” Terry says.
A recent IHS report announced Hikvision as the largest manufacturer of video surveillance equipment in the world, and North America is one of the fastest growing markets for the company.
“Hikvision is making history in Canada by establishing the Quebec office,” states Jeffrey He, president of Hikvision Canada Inc. and Hikvision USA Inc. “Our strong partnerships in the Canadian market and our commitment to better serving our Canadian customers has come to fruition in the form of the Canada branch office. As the company grows in North America, we are proud to provide the localized service our customers need.”
