Hirsch Earns Frost & Sullivan;s Technology Innovation Award

Hirsch Electronics, a supplier of IP-enabled access control and security management solutions, has received the 2008 Frost & Sullivan Award for Technology Innovation in the North American electronic access control systems market.

The independent market research firm Frost & Sullivan presented Hirsch with the award for its technological innovations in identity management, multifactor authentication, encryption, network-enabled solutions and system interoperability. The company was also recognized for its achievements in delivering an end-to-end solution that enables organizations to achieve goals for risk mitigation, sustainable growth and profitability.

Hirsch has also joined the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) to help drive open and secure network computing standards into the physical security industry. The company will participate in TCG’s Trusted Network Connect (TNC), joining member companies such as IBM, HP, Microsoft, Juniper, Intel and RSA.
