The awards keep coming for Electronic Controls Systems LLC’s UltraGuard Carbon Monoxide (CO) detector and safety system. The latest to honor UltraGuard is the Home Safety Council (HSC), which has named the product among the winners of its second annual Product Innovation for Consumer Safety Award.
ECS CEO and President Geoff Winters was on hand to accept the award during a June 30 awards dinner in Washington D.C. UltraGuard was among the winners earlier this year during the Security Industry Association’s (SIA) New Product Showcase at April’s ISC West in Las Vegas.
The Home Safety Council, a non-profit group dedicated to preventing injuries at home, presents the consumer safety award to companies that work to advance consumer safety through proactive programs and product development.
Also honored with an award at the dinner was Kidde plc for its Model 1276E smoke alarm.
