Home Intruders Steal Security Camera, Still Recorded on Video

Thieves in Nashville thought they were being clever by stealing the security cameras from inside a home they broke into. They didn't realize the surveillance footage was actually downloaded and preserved elsewhere.

The Nashville Police Department are searching for two intruders who burglarized a home while the resident was out of the country.

The duo thought they were being clever by stealing the surveillance cameras from inside the home, but unbeknownst to the young thieves, the footage taken by the devices was actually downloaded and preserved somewhere else, WKRN.com reports.

The surveillance footage shows the thieves stealing computer equipment, money, beer and a lawnmower.

The video also shows the duo unsuccessfully trying to rip a flat screen television off the wall.
