Honeywell Introduces New 4G LTE Communicators

The new 4G LTE Communicators are said to integrate seamlessly with Honeywell’s VISTA and LYNX 5210 / 7000 control systems, and enable enhanced performance of AlarmNet and Total Connect 2.0 Remote Services.

ATLANTA — Honeywell (NYSE: HON) introduces new offerings in its line of LTE (Long Term Evolution) Cellular Communicators available on Verizon’s 4G LTE network to provide enhanced security and system longevity.

The new 4G LTE Communicators integrate seamlessly with Honeywell’s VISTA and LYNX 5210 / 7000 control systems, and enable enhanced performance of AlarmNet and Total Connect 2.0 Remote Services.

The combined technology provides dealers with a competitive, quality-tested solution for residential and commercial customers.

The platform design of Honeywell’s 4G LTE portfolio provides simplicity in installation across LYNX 5210/7000 and VISTA models with all signals delivered to Honeywell’s AlarmNet Network Control Center, which is continuously monitored to ensure messages are routed efficiently, quickly and securely.

The 4G LTE Cellular Communicators also feature diagnostic LEDs for signal strength and health status indicators, support for Honeywell Total Connect Remote Services, two-way voice and over-the-air firmware upgrades.
