The product meets NEMA 4X standards for water protection and has been designed for robust performance in diverse climates, according to the company. It features a wide gap of 1.75 inches to simplify installation while helping prevent false alarms. The housing is paintable, giving end-users the ability to match it to any surface.
The 5816OD works with Honeywell’s Total Connect Remote Services, which notifies end-users via E-mail or text messages when activity is sensed in the protected area.
