MELVILLE, N.Y. — Honeywell announces the release of Total Connect Tracking Services, its new new fleet management service. The service allows users to track vehicle fleets with real-time data.
The company says fleet managers can manage drivers easily by accessing data obtained from the system, analyzing it and taking corrective actions as needed.
For instance GPS tracking data can be used to plan routes more efficiently, select distance to location to determine the closest vehicles in the field and display turn by turn directions.
The GPS fleet tracking system and the numerous reports it offers can help improve increase productivity, reduce operating costs and eliminate unnecessary fuel expenses, according to the company.
A user also has the ability to monitor vehicles for driver behavior, fuel usage, battery status, stops, speeding, engine idling, and more.
These fleet management capabilities are available at no additional cost to Honeywell Total Connect customers.
Total Connect is Honeywell’s security and automation platform. The Honeywell Total Connect Remote Services app lets users access on-demand vehicle/asset location, location history and activate custom email and video notifications through any web-enabled mobile device.
