PALO ALTO, Calif. — Honeywell and GE have each been honored by research house Frost & Sullivan for their efforts at integrating and innovating security products.
On March 28, Honeywell was awarded with Frost’s 2004 Technology Leadership Award for its building management platform — the Enterprise Building Integrator (EBI) — which integrates building automation security, fire and life safety systems.
“What we found is Honeywell has been very proactive and has a rich experience over three decades,” says Frost research analyst Sapan Agarwal. “Honeywell stood heads and above the rest.”
A week later, Frost’s eyes turned to GE, as the research firm awarded GE’s Infrastructure, Security division with its 2004 Product Innovation Award for the Transition™ series of access control readers.
