Honeywell, REACT Among New Partnerships Launched at ISC West
LAS VEGAS
The growing trend for manufacturers and service providers to partner with each other to offer security solutions over traditional proprietary products was evident at ISC West as several companies used the event as a springboard to announce joint ventures.
Among the affiliations, Honeywell and REACT Systems™ Inc. will provide a unified security solution for mass notification. The offering allows the REACT! Enterprise Critical Response Notification System to interface with Honeywell’s Pro-Watch® security management and WIN-PAK® access control platforms.
Bringing Honeywell and REACT security technologies together provides users with the ability to automate the process of initiating a response to critical scenarios, ensuring that information reaches people quickly so they can take appropriate action.
The interfacing of Honeywell’s Pro-Watch and WIN-PAK platforms with REACT allows notification of security events to occur quickly and efficiently, wherever responders are, using whatever communication methods are available.
Other notable partnerships and agreements announced at ISC West include:
Lenel Systems Int’l Inc. and On-Net Surveillance Systems (OnSSI) will offer a new user-friendly video management platform that provides software tools to seamlessly monitor and manage hundreds of cameras while simultaneously investigating video. The open-architecture IP video platform offers a simple, intuitive interface for desktop and control room video wall settings.
OnSSI also announced it has signed an OEM agreement with market category competitor Milestone Systems. The Milestone XProtect IP software platform will act as one of the recording engines for OnSSI’s Ocularis video management platform, with the Milestone application programming interface (API) and OnSSI’s Ocularis facilitating the integration.
