Honeywell has joined with Rebuilding Together Long Island, an organization that restores homes for low-income elderly, disabled or single-parent families, to complete a two-day home renovation project for a recovering open heart surgery patient in Hicksville, N.Y.

Nine Honeywell employees volunteered to improve the home’s safety and comfort, replace windows, repair ceilings and walls, and do yard work. Honeywell supports many Rebuilding Together projects throughout the country, including other recent projects in New York.

“Honeywell is proud to partner with Rebuilding Together to help local residents in need,” says President of Honeywell Security and Custom Electronics Ron Rothman. “Through this partnership, we can support Rebuilding Together and give our employees an opportunity to make a difference in our community.”
