Honeywell of Melville, N.Y., releases Total Connect 2.0, which allows users to remotely manage their security systems and view live video via computers, smartphones and other Web-enabled devices.
Pre-configured to the company’s LYNX and VISTA alarm controls, Total Connect 2.0 features an interactive dashboard with Flash-based graphics, enhanced navigation and a simplified set-up process, the company says. The system’s multi-site feature allows users to upload images of their locations and click on a photo to remotely check status.
