Honeywell Video Systems says it plans to discontinue its
line of DSP multiplexers come September. Limited quantities
of the DSP9C-SV (PAL Model No. DSP9CX-SV) and DSP16C-SV
(PAL Model No. DSP16CX-SV) will be available until Sept.
30, after which Honeywell will no longer accept orders for
the models.
The company cites technological advancements and increasing
difficulty in obtaining parts for analog devices as reasons
for the discontinuation.
