900 Connect, Have Swinging Good Time at Honeywell’s Hollywood (Fla.) Event

The manufacturer touts heightened innovation and market responsiveness while renewing pledge to support its authorized dealers and integrators.

HOLLYWOOD, Fla.—Honeywell Connect brought an estimated 900 authorized dealers/integrators, manufacturer personnel and others together for company technology, product and business updates as well as education, networking and fun.

This year’s theme was Your Voice. Your Network. Your Future. Hosted by Vice President of Sales for Intrusion at Honeywell Security & Fire Marek Robinson, the event offered more than 55 educational sessions plus exhibits, keynotes, awards and social functions.

The numerous dealer/integrator attendees who spoke with Security Sales & Integration were universally upbeat about their current level of business, future outlook and the ability of Honeywell to continue to help them succeed through technologies, products and support.

They conveyed how much they appreciate the manufacturer’s initiatives to incorporate reseller and end-user feedback, and its responsiveness to both market changes and their company’s unique needs.

For its part, Honeywell renewed its vow to deliver on all promises pertaining to fully partnering and supporting the channel.

In keeping with its established pattern of shifting coasts each year, it was announced at Connect that the 2017 edition will take place Nov. 9-12 in San Diego.
