One of the highest profile exhibits shown during the innovation showcase was the new Honeywell Lyric Gateway, which is so easy to install that a contest was held challenging people to attempt to deploy it in less than 7-and-a-half minutes. The very consumer-friendly Gateway shatters perceptions about what a security controller typically resembles, and is designed to be easily upgraded via software updates and communication modules when the time comes.
