INDIANAPOLIS – Hoosier Security opened its new headquarters here this week in the Circle City Industrial Complex (CCIC).
Owner Armando Perez said it is part of a $6.2 million investment in “people, space and equipment” and includes the addition of 15 jobs over the next three years.
Hoosier Security told Inside Indiana Business that the facility will feature a new systems design lab that utilizes 3D designers to create custom security systems. It will also have a separate build room where security systems can be assembled, programmed and tested.
“Our plan has always been to build a model shop and then expand into other locations and this home office can now support up to seven other locations,” said Perez.
The expansion is part of the CCIC’s redevelopment initiative launched in 2015.
“We are so pleased that Hoosier Security will continue their tenancy at the Circle City Industrial Complex,” said Larry Jones, president of Indianapolis-based Teagan Development, which is leading the CCIC redevelopment. “Their expansion is a great example of the ongoing redevelopment and revitalization efforts within the CCIC and throughout the Mass Ave Industrial Corridor, bringing local businesses and job opportunities back to the near east side.”
