HSM Electronic Protection Services Inc. officially unveiled its new and fully functional ProtectionNet Customer Service Center (PNC) in Plymouth, Minn., during a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by state and local dignitaries and other guests.
The relocation project, one-and-a-half years and $5 million in the making, comprises a 35,000-square-foot facility, which is located about 5 miles from the former PNC facility in Camden, Minn. The new center has tripled HSM’s monitoring capacity, which will give HSM room to grow and improve efficiencies in its central station monitoring and other centralized functions.
“The center was designed and built with the very latest state-of-the-art technology,” says Tim Whall, HSM president and COO. “We are confident that this center and its increased capacity will be able to handle our rapid growth across the country.”
The center serves as the primary facility for HSM’s centralized services such as service dispatch, data management, corporate training, IT support, order entry, remote programming and national account project management.
Accommodating the increasing need for electronic security monitoring throughout the country, the center receives approximately 2 million signals each week, Whall says. HSM also supports thousands of accounts logging in every month via the Web to its online eServices offerings, including eDataManager, eAccountManager, eVideoData and more.
