HSM Goes Back-to-Back With Top SAMMY Award

LAS VEGAS — For the second year in a row, HSM left SSI’s SAMMY (Sales and Marketing) Awards banquet with the most hardware, including the top prize of “Overall Integrated Marketing Program.”

The 12th annual awards ceremony was held at the Venetian Casino Resort conference March 27, the evening before ISC West kicked off. While esteemed alarm industry professionals in attendance witnessed HSM also take home the “Integrated Commercial/Industrial Installation of the Year,” there was plenty of love to spread around as no other company won multiple trophies.

Guardian Protection Systems and The Protection Bureau won a trophy each, for “Commercial/Industrial Sales Brochure” and “Company Logo Design” respectively, repeating as honorees for the second consecutive year. Guardian’s victory keeps its consecutive winning streak alive at four.

Winners hail from eight different states spread across the nation and even included an international winner, AAA Alarm Systems of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, for “Company Newsletter.” Stay tuned for the June issue of SSI for a more in-depth look at all the pomp and pageantry that was the 2007 SAMMY Awards.
