Why i-PRO Promoted Figols to Chief Product Officer
As chief product officer, Figols will be tasked with spearheading i-PRO’s global product strategy.
“Gerard’s appointment as CPO underscores our mission to establish i-PRO as a truly global organization,” says Masato Nakao, chief executive officer at i-PRO, in the company announcement.
“Building on his years of experience working across cultures, Gerard will be able to leverage insights from different business regions to develop best-in-class products suited to the needs of different industries and markets,” he says.
Commenting on his appointment, Figols says, “At i-PRO, we’re driven by innovation and the pursuit of excellence, leading the global market with our open AI platform and reputation for quality engineering.
“I am honored to take on the role of chief product officer at i-PRO and excited to lead the company’s global product strategy focusing on ethical AI, cybersecurity and seamless integration with our VMS partners,” he says.
“By fostering international collaboration between i-PRO stakeholders and making it easier than ever for our channel partners to work with us, we will continue to drive innovation and deliver exceptional hardware to our customers worldwide,” says Figols.
In a related announcement, i-PRO has appointed Jose Riolobos as Figols’ successor to the role of president of i-PRO EMEA. For several years, Riolobos held senior positions within i-PRO and, previously, Panasonic in Europe and Japan.
“I am honored to lead i-PRO EMEA’s operations and build upon the foundation of success established by Gerard,” says Riolobos in the company announcement. “I look forward to continuing to drive growth and delivering value to our partners and customers across the region.”
